Blush Makeup
Want to give your cheeks a rosy glow? Designed to flatter any skin complexion, our selection of blush palettes deliver a natural radiance to the cheeks. Choose from soft or bold colors to complement your makeup preferences. Whether you’re looking for a powder, cream or liquid blush product, our blush shades are sure to add color to any and all skin types.
What to Look for in Blush
The right type of blush should be blendable and long-lasting. It should also tie your whole look together. Be sure to start with choosing a shade that shares the same undertone as you. For instance, berry and rose blushes are ideal for those with deep complexions. If you have a medium or tan skin tone, think mauve or peach blushes. And for those with skin complexions ranging from fair to light, pink blushes are the perfect way to add a pop of color.
Types of Blush
Blush is the perfect way to finish off any makeup look. However, there are so many types out there to choose from. If you’re not sure which kind of blush is the best one for you, we can help.
- Powder blush - This type of blush will give you that natural, sun-kissed glow that you want. Not only is it long-lasting but it can easily be blended. Powder blush is the most commonly used blushed for a matte finish. If you have oily skin or large pores, this blush type is perfect for you.
- Cream blush - If you have acne-prone skin, a cream-based formula is ideal. Cream blush will give you a pigmented and dewy finish. It’s ideal for dry skin but anyone can use it. You can apply it with a brush or your fingers.
- Liquid blush - Liquid blush is best suited for combination skin types. You can apply it with your fingers or a beauty blender. It’s good for those who like the bold brush look.
How to Apply Blush
Each face shape has its own technique, so you won't find a one size fits all approach. It also depends on the type of look you’re going for. Do you want a natural flush or some dramatic draping? Much like lipstick and eyeliner, blush can be used to create various aesthetic effects depending on where and how it’s applied.
If you have a round face, try applying blush high on the cheekbones. You can achieve a lifting effect by extending the color out to the temples as well. Those with a heart or diamond-shaped face can apply blush just below the apples of the cheeks. Be sure to blend it out to the hairline for the right amount of coverage. On someone with a long face, apply blush just under the apples of the cheek.
